Where have you been all my life!! I think I've found the best BBQ restaurant in town worth going to. The meat is so tender, juicy and flavorful. The BBQ sauces are kept warm, and they have free soft serve ice cream. They also have the best thinly sliced fried onion rings, made fresh when ordered. Yum delicious! And the service is fast.

This place was ok. Stopped in and got some ribs and some chicken and some sides. Place was clean. Service was very friendly.
The food. Well, my fiance told me they were good. I decided to get their ribs. I was not impressed. They had a good texture, they were fall off the bone pretty much. But, I didn't care for the taste. Not sure if they were old, or, if I just didn't like the dry rub they put on. Wasn't a huge fan of their BBQ sauce either (original). My fiance got the chicken meal with two sides. She liked the chicken with the sweet BBQ sauce, but, said the sides weren't very good at all.
So, I'll give them 3 stars. It was edible. Service was fast and friendly. But, I was not impressed with the food. -

Finally made it out to Dickey's BBQ with some friends tonight, don't know why we hadn't been here for BBQ sooner... This place is great! The food was really good and we got it fast (great if you have kids with short meltdown timers). I loved their BBQ sauces too. Their Hot sauce has good kick and the Sweet sauce was really good with maybe a hint of maple...? Kids eat free on Sundays (very cool) and they have DIY soft serve ice cream cones, and it's quality soft serve (not that icy stuff that melts in seconds). Really enjoyed the atmosphere, very kid/family friendly. Will definitely be back soon!!

I have been going to Dickey's for a couple of years now. For a national chain it serves up some surprisingly excellent smoked meat and BBQ. My favorite is still the brisket sandwich but I also love the ribs, pulled pork, and the spicy polish sausage. The polish sausage, chicken and turkey are also good, but just not my preferred smoked or BBQ'ed meats.
I have just about had every one of their sides and the one that I order without fail is the jalapeno beans. But their slaw, green beans, and waffle fries are all good. In my original review I had complained about the sides but I think I must have caught them on an off day because, since that visit, the sides have been just fine. -

Went to Dickey's for something different. The BBQ was excellent as were the sides. My only problem was the portions seemed a little stingy. We each ordered the two meat and sides. There is a nice variety of sides and BBQ sauces to choose from. We had mac n' cheese and the jalapeno beans. Very tasty. Is it the best BBQ in Columbia? I can't say because I have yet to try every BBQ restaurant in town, but it was really good for a large chain. Compared to the Dickey's in Downers Grove, IL--this place was a vast improvement.
